I know it's been a while...

...But can I just say that this new post editor they have is absolutely SHIT? Haha. How frustrating.


Anyways, what's up with me?
Well, still playing League of Legends (like a BOSS) and have made some pretty great friends along the way. Still on Empire Avenue but it's quite neglected right now. I probably am well on my way to 200 million in the bank. At least I can say I'm rich somewhere, right? (Well, that and neopets I guess, but shhh! Don't tell!)

I finally posted an old song clip to Youtube (at Victoria's request). It's rough, incomplete, but generally a bit cut throat and awesome. Click here to watch.

What else?
Well Tish and Logan are coming very soon. They are going to be living at my place for the next six months. I am SUPER excited to have my baby sister here with me. Love that girl to death and I think we're going to have a wonderful time while they are here. My brother has his own place with his friend Tony now. He's been doing well for himself and I am proud of him! All grown up! Now his ferret Gooch has another cat to terrify that isn't mine, so all is good. LOL.

As for pets, Lucy is good and so is Icarus but my bunnies have me worried. Elias is so elderly now, I have a feeling that he doesn't have very much longer left. I didn't think he was going to live through the summer but he did. I don't know what will happen with Chloe if he dies because they are quite bonded to one another. It's a sad thought, but for a dwarf he's ancient.

As for League of Legends, if any of you guys play then hit me up, my username is LadyHardcore (surprise, surprise). I am frequently found on skype with friends while playing, or occasionally even found in the odd live stream as well. I will start posting links when we live stream so that people can watch and listen to our hilarious banter such as "the birth of the nounverb" or naming a ranked team "Eleanor is upset". If you guys do listen, it probably isn't for the faint of heart. We all have quite the dirty sense of humor and potty mouths to boot!

Anyways, that's sort of my update. I will probably come back a little more frequently now. Funny how you forget things like your blog exist when you're busy.

My Return to Empire Avenue - and Blogging!

Hi everybody. Today I thought it would be the PERFECT day to return from my 5 month hiatus because of [X]pendapalooza. I decided to take a break from blogging, posting youtube videos, and from Empire Avenue over the summer because I have had a lot of stuff going on in my life as of late including work, family stuff, deaths, etc...

Unfortunately since the last time I blogged my parrot Chester died. He had night frights and injured himself. More importantly, my brother's best friend was brutally murdered on Halloween. It has been a really sad and emotional time for myself and those I love. The person who killed her has still not been caught. It makes me very angry and sad. Needless to say, the past few months have been full of trials for me and thus my hiatus from most things internet related.

However, after relentless pestering from my friends from the Super Secret Awesome Group I am back on Empire Avenue and I thought I'd come in with a bang! I had 33 million eaves to spend this morning and due to [X]pendapalooza I decided to try and give back a significant portion of those eaves to you guys to spend on others via having Shareholder Missions. I have to say I am very impressed and grateful at how well these have been received and I am looking forward to continuing to chat with all of you via twitter, empire avenue and on the facebook group pages.

So now, as my shareholder mission #5 comes out - I suppose my blog will get a much needed onslaught of new followers!

Empire Avenue Hockey Pool - Regular Season

Hi Everybody - this year we will be using a pool manager and you will be allowed to have TRADES!

I need the following information messaged to me on Empire Avenue ASAP:
1. Your team name.
2. Your e-mail address.
3. How many days per week do you want updates e-mailed to you?
4. Your Picks. I need the following: 5 East Forwards, 5 West Forwards, 5 East Defense, 5 West Defense, 1 East Goalie, 1 West Goalie.


Because this year you can trade this is going to work on an honour system. I will check your picks frequently. Any person who trades outside of the East/West guidelines (for example, picking having 5 West forwards and only 4 East) will be immediately suspended indefinitely from the hockey pool.

The Stakes:
I didn't end up claiming my prize for the Playoff Pool. I'm going to up the ante this year because of this. Every player who plays agrees to purchase the winner a 10,000 view ad on Empire Avenue with the wording of the winner's choice. IF YOU ARE LAST PLACE - you agree to purchase THREE 10,000 view ads with the wording of the winners choice.

It's been a while.

I know that I haven't messaged people from the Playoff Hockey Pool yet about what ad I want placed. I am hoping to do it in the coming week or two. Sorry! A lot of them have now deleted so I'm going to be kinda screwed. lol Oh well. It's my own fault.

Anyways, I haven't written for a while because it has been a crazy eventful summer. Russell is now moved in with me, and unfortunately Tish leaves in two days. Going to miss my little Reptar. I know she'll be back soon.

Anyways, I spent several weeks in BC in June/July and did some camping as well. Mosquitoes were a biggity bitch. Still are. Holy hell.

The night we got back my next door neighbours house caught fire. It was pretty scary. I managed to break my toe that night - badly. It still hurts and is still swollen. Then once I finally get back to work I end up with the worst tonsilitis I think I've ever had in my life. Still on medication for it but fortunately I only have 2 or 3 more days left.

Anyways, now that my brother starts a new job tomorrow it seems as though I'll finally get back into a routine. I've worked really hard this year, and I needed the time off (although it was more stress than it was worth probably). I look forward to the rest of the year and spending time with my brother and going to concerts. Hoping that once the new routine is established we'll get to writing and recording some new music for everybody, since it is long overdue.

For some reason this week I thought a lot about past relationships with people. Wondering how people are doing. Wondering about what's his face and a couple of others. My ex had a beautiful baby boy with his girlfriend a couple weeks ago. Such a little cutie. I am so happy for them and I hope they decide to tie the knot soon. They're really a great couple. I think it kind of got me a big nostalgic, not only out more recent previous relationships but all the men who have once been in my life as a whole. I'm glad that I can say for the most part that I look back at a majority of things with good memories and a happy heart. Although I still feel to this day that I haven't had closure with one person in particular - I can say that I am one of the lucky few who hasn't managed to burn many bridges. With this one person, I don't feel as though I'll ever feel closure until they speak to me again. They were a close friend, and it kind of eats at me that I don't have the person in my life anymore. My friends and family would tell me I'm stupid for feeling that way. I just don't like to end things on bad terms I guess.

I'm blabbing. Just have a lot on my mind and I am procrastinating going to bed. Now that in the coming months it seems things might become a little easier for me, I think it's time to finally start saying yes and living life a bit. I'm off to bed. I'll write more later. 17 years ago Amanda Matkovich Griffin and I were watching game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals with my Dad in our living room. We made Canucks signs and ran and screamed down Glen Drive when Trevor Linden scored both his goals in that game. At the end of the night there were two heartbroken little girls. Tonight = REDEMPTION. Mandy, I'm running out in the street for you tonight. ♥ GO CANUCKS GO!!!

This is going to be quick and dirty.

You pick 10 players from the playoff teams and one goalie. That's it. No trades so pick heavy on the team you think will win.

Everybody must message me on Empire Avenue no later than tomorrow at 5 pm MST. (my username is LadyHardcore).

Upon sending me your message with your picks you agree to the following terms:
1. If you do not win, you will buy a 5000 view ad for the winner with the text of their choice.
2. If you are in last place you will buy a 10,000 view ad for the winner with the text of their choice.

So for those of you wondering why I won't be around as much over the next month - I'm working two jobs. I am probably going to be working 7 days a week and 12 hours per day (not including the 2 hours each way in transportation time). So yeah.
